They consist of Pete Bloom on Lead Vocals and Guitar, Niki Jester on Bass and Vocals and Jaca Freer on Drums and Vocals.

NEVERLANDED have accredited their musical influences to the likes of Placebo, L7, Silverchair, Garbage, Nirvana and The Cranberries.

The Debut EP consists of 4 tracks entitled “BRAINSANE”, “SCREAM 4 ICE CREAM”, “THIS FRIEND OF MINE” & “MESS. O. S. “

Upon listening to the debut EP, you will find a distinctive familiarity like an old friend, with its heavy Nirvana-esq guitar rifts and lively drum rhythms. The sound is electric and satisfying. The musical fight between the drums and guitars is apparent, but it works and the vocals are in no way lost or subdued by the music becoming overpowering. In fact, they compliment each other perfectly. The songs such as Brainsane and Scream 4 Ice Cream build the listener up into an electric crescendo where you can feel your blood start to rise. These tracks effortlessly take you on a journey of energising musical freedom, which might have been forgotten to the past……

This Friend of Mine changes the pace somewhat with its more soulful and mellow tunes and increased harmonising vocals, but don’t be lulled into a false sense of security as its still an absolutely rocking tune, and I’d say perhaps my favourite on the EP.

Finally, there is the cleverly entitled MesS. O. S. This track is undoubtedly punchy and gutsy in both its melody and vocals. Its a fast paced, upbeat classic rock song. In fact everything that a good rock song should be.

The debut EP from NEVERLANDED is due for release on the 1st April 2019
